What would happen if the common businesses in a local community banded together for the greater good of their customers?

That's what the Journey Team asked ourselves many months ago, and what we discovered is that not only were our communities being under-served, but that we had the resources to change that. The Journey Event was birthed when we - a small group of Colorado Springs-based Christian retailers, publishers, and their trade association - began informally meeting simply to encourage one another in our respective careers. Within a short time, it became evident that we were more than capable of helping the entire city of Colorado Springs realize the exceptional life resources available to them at these local stores.

The Journey Event is more than just helping customers find products. It is an opportunity to meet with a multitude of local authors, artists, and various other companies that provide the products in the stores.

However, the Journey Event is more than just helping customers find products. It's a chance to hear the stories behind the stories, to learn about the journeys others have taken, to discover these Christian retail stores, and to let them join you on your own spiritual journey. 

We also hope while you are journeying to these different stores throughout the weekend that you will see the impact your dollars make when you support your local stores. Whether you make a unique connection with one of the stores' employees, decide to get involved with a local ministry the stores support, or simply learn how to spend money using Kingdom Economic principles, the Journey Team wants you to leave these stores knowing you have been enriched spiritually and that you are enriching His kingdom at the same time.
